I don't want to step on the Hetchins experts toes but what you have got to remember is that Hetchins stocking trade was supplying their many agents with frames throughout the UK. Mostly off the peg but some bespoke. These are a few of the bigger ones I can remember: Southgate Cycles Ivor Clark Ivor Holmes (Luton) Wilsons (Birmingham) Leedhams (Leicester) Downend & Lister Fred Baker (Bristol) Don Farrells All of these sold off the peg Hetchins frames. So if you own a Hetchins it might have come via an agentds shop and not direct from the Seven Sisters. My Dad use to take me into Don Farrells in Burnt Oak as kid, my Auntie May lived just around the corner in Millfield Road can still remember the funny curly frames hanging in the window. You can bet your last Sov that there were Super Specials and other models hanging about in main agents shops long after the model was ceased to be made. Be lucky Mick.

Thats all for now. Keep those wheels spinning, in your memories if not still on the road. Be lucky Mick Butler Huntingdon UK.
