Chuck& all, In the early years the influences for me were many. At times it may have been a single element seen on a particular frame that would catch my eye. I don't think I could say it was all Italian, or all English,,, it was a blend. All I know is back then I didn't want anything I did to look like it was inspired by a French bike!!!!&%^@^!
