I don't believe that there is any battery light for fitment to a fork bracket sold in the UK. The Ever Ready I was thinking of was also a two D cell type and it was, I think, called a "nightrider" 95% of comuter cyclists in Brighton, including me, use a LED light on flashing mode, which may be illegal. I have witnessed the most awful row on a 600km audax when one guy claimed the flashing light of the rider behind was causing him to halucinate! that doesn't bother me but there is nothing worse than riding in a group behind someone with a flashing tail light.
