Ray, You are correct they did make a derailleur it was either called a "Red Star" or "Crimson Star" I can't remember which. Yes and bright red nylon jockey wheels, these had no cones and were easy to remove for cleaning and TLC. The good thing I can remember about the gear was that it pivoted so that you could get it up and backwards to get the wheel out easy. Also the toggle chain was protected by a guard like a sleeve. It could be used as a 3,4 or 5 speed on 1/8" or 3/32" they were used a lot for replacements for 1/8" Cyclos
on tandems.
Best wishes Mick.
