A (computerless) friend (he has ordered a Rivendell) asked if I would sell his frame for him (on eBay) and it is listed #7225646428.
This is a Mercian 'King Of Merica' Touring Model and is built with Reynolds 531c, measures 58cm (c-t) with a 56 1/2cm top tube' Wheelbase is 40 1/4" with 17" chainstays; 32 1/4" standover height and a 3 1/2" bottom bracket drop; Rear spacing is 130; seat post required is 27.2mm. The frame is very traditional looking, has cantilever braze-ons, has very nice lugs and is in excellent condition.
My friend said he paid a little over $800.00 (about 6-7 years ago and bought it new from Mercian)) for it and has ridden it less than 1,000 miles..
Should a CR Listmember purchase it for the 'Buy It Now' price ($575.00), shipping (CONUS) will be included, as well as a NOS set of Shimano 600 Cantilever brakes (one bike's worth) and a Campagnolo Chorus headset (not presently installed).
I think this a great looking frame - any questions, please ask.
