"Fun with Google Language Tools" Yes, I still check all my French translations with Google's excellent language tools. They're getting better all the time, but the results are still sometimes funny/confusing/disturbing. Good example is the translation of panel #2 of "Puncture" for which the caption "Tout à coup "Pif!" le boyau de la roue avant de Dydo crève." translated as...
"Suddenly "Conk!" The bowel of the nose gear wheel Dydo bursts!"
Creates some interesting mental images, no?
