I guess, that to be a Barbers pole it MUST be in Red and white, Of course
you all know why that is right!!!! IS Mercian the FIRST bike builder to use
the barbers pole??? I do not remember ever seeing this done on any bike in the
late40s 50s does anyone else? anyone care!!! Once again I think that Mercian
has done what every bike builder does, tried to come up wth a markerting
product to make there bikes moore appealing to the eye, at least its better that
having a rear triangle that looks like its been hit from the back by a Mack
truck, also tubes that are pregnant and about to have baby bikes, front fork
that looks like it HIT the back of the same Mack truck, and a frame that I used
to swing on, (Come on guys, have fun think of some of the crazy bike things
