Just trying to catch up with my reading of the last month's email contris to the List, and noticed some talk of Lejeune track frames..and Bernard Carre the builder. Noticed too the track frame in the Lejeune pages that is clearly picked out with its Carre's top-eye plates.
If you are into track frames..and Lejeunes..then there's one up for sale -ITEM 7228250817 - on Ebay, ending today. It's not Lejeune red...but it appears to be a Carre, even though it doesn't have his name stamped on the readily-identifiable top-eyes.
Good hunting...as there is plenty of interest in this frame.
