YST and Mavic have made these in different lengths. The YSTs are very economical but last thousands of miles easily. Taper is JIS "Shimano".

The YSTs tapered rings are steel so it's less fussy about the end of the shell.

The Mavic unit uses plastic-faced alloy rings so really requires frame bevel machining. The Mavic taper of a new unit here is - surprise - also JIS.
