Subject: [CR]Raleigh frame ID updated.......

Hi all, I've updated the details below.......regards wayne davidson Invers NZ.....

Only # is on rear dropout U7734. NO BB and HS is Tange, not expecting that to be factory.

Decals are 531 and the Raleigh lettering is block lettering in white with a gold outline. Seatpost dia appears to be 26.60mm. Lugs are semi long point. Rivated headbadge, grease nipple on underside of BB shell with insert to distribute grease to the balls, Eng threads, dropouts have eyelets, RHR dropout does NOT have a threaded eye for a deraileur, downtude has a wee ditty for the lever band to sit against, the seat tube has 2 pump pegs, on the top of the RHS on the BB shell there is a guide for the RD cable, there are NO brake cable guides, head lugs are chromed, rear 1/2 triangle is chromed as well with a outer cable stop on the top edge of the RH chainstay. Fork is 1/2 chrome with a light bracket 1/2 way down RH blade with a sloping crown. The rear dropouts look stamped as against forged, when I 1st looked at the frame I thought 60's, but looking at the fork with the sloping crown I had to wonder, esp as my old Carlton looked very similar in certain respects, asd was from the 60's, had a flat fork crown.

The rear dropouts are long enough for fixed wheel,

If pix will help I'll take some tomorrow.....TIA wayne davidson Invers NZ......
