Asked Kirk A. Thomas- Do you all think that they (Campagnolo tool kits) died out due to price, or thin interest and sales? Inquiring minds want to know!

Probably due to demand dropping and they were tired of losing money on them.

I always viewed it as a set of tools to insure proper installation & performance of the Campagnolo product line, some of the tools were unique, and one could not find a substitute for the task readily, if at all.

Later other sources did create alternatives for many of the tools. And at some point, Cobra, who made many of the tools self branded some.
