Do you have a copy of "An Intimate portrait of the tour de france"?

On page 30 there is a photo of gino bartali talking with a mechanic. the mechanic is holding a chainset. can anyone identify that chainset?

for those who do not have the book. the chainset is a 4 arm type. the forth arm is the back of the crank arm (like a Y shaped chater lea crank). The bolt cirle is large. Bartoli is holding a chainring to fit, a 54 tooth I would guess. It fixes to the cranks, and second smaller ring can be fitted to the inside. On the floor there is a double ring set up. the inner ring looks like TA Criterium ring and is fixed to the outer with six bolts.

The other interesting ring is the single chainring lying on the floor. This looks just like a Campag record chainring, two circles linked by spokes. But there are only 4 bolt holes, obviously to fit the 4 arm cranks. It looks to be a 56 tooth ring. But if you did not count its teeth, it proportions would look like a 44 tooth ring.

Any ideas?
