Not only was DHL one of my best experiences with a carrier, the entire transaction was proof that with good communication, you can get good things done.

I had won two sets of Bluemel's mudguards on eBay from a gent in Northern Ireland about the same time as I purchased the Rotrax. The seller of the mudguards was going to send them via Royal mail. That was going to cost £54!! That's nearly what I had paid combined for both sets.

To make a long story shorter, after some three-way discussion the seller of the Rotrax offered to include the mudguards in the shipment at no extra charge if the gent in N Ireland would send them on to him. I paid for the internal shipping (around 8 quid) and the Rotrax seller packed them in with the frame and bits. All arrived safe and sound for £2 more total than what the mudguards alone were going to cost via Royal Mail.
