(April 10, 2006 -- Lehigh Valley, PA)-- The Lehigh Valley Velodrome (LVV) announces the Fourth Annual Spring Swap Meet, Saturday, April 22nd, from 9 AM to 2 PM, inside the Velodrome plaza and infield. This specialty flea market, which is devoted to a variety of bicycling products, will kick off the 2006 Major Event Schedule at the Lehigh Valley Velodrome which can be found at http://www.thevelodrome.com. The event is open to the public ($5 admission fee; kids 12 and under are free) and consists of vendors selling bicycles, bicycle clothing, bike parts, and cycling memorabilia. The event is held rain or shine.

Both new and used goods are available at one of largest cycling community events in the country, drawing participants and attendees from across the nation. Over 20 commercial vendors and approximately 120 individual vendors reserved booths for last year's sale.

The Lehigh Valley Velodrome will hold one other cycling swap meet in 2006. Saturday, October 7th, the largest and most popular of the Bicycling expos, the Fall Swap Meet, will be held for its 30th consecutive year. Velodrome officials have speculated that the Fall sale is the largest cycling swap meet in the United States.
