This would be news to me. I know of two Modolo-made models and one DiaCompe-made model and have examples of each. The excellent MAFAC LS SP's were branded Spidel, but I've never seen them branded Mavic. Of course there are lot of things I haven't seen.

IIRC, Spidel/MAFAC made the Mavic branded brakes.
