cast bodies were "driver"

standard arm plate bodies are "criterium" long arm plate bodies are "tandem" short arm plate bodies are "jacky"

there were short arm cast versions, contemporary to the drivers, but i dont remember their model name offhand...

i still think these are the best cyclocross brakes ever - all you ever need in cx is 5mph or so trimmed off your speed, and theyre perfect for that.

ive never found them lacking in stopping power in other applications, though - but then, ive always used the tandem arms, and never with the stock mafac pads.
