Thanks. I have the Mafac and 27" wheels on my French tandem and it looks like there is no room for adjustment so I'm glad to hear that 27" will be available for a while (but in a strong tandem/touring rim--I have super champ now--with 40 and 48 holes?). My 27" wheels are doing great for now (even with strong braking from the Atom hub brake!) so there is no urgency.
