Both Columbus tubing and Reynolds 531 come with a temperature warning. (About 1450F for Columbus and 1550F for Reynolds) Weren't Masis brassed? I'm pretty darned sure Colnagos were. I'll be happy to ride (and ride and ride) my '78 Trek. Simple, clean with impeccable workmanship. Most importantly I won't have a heart attack if the paint gets scratched.
