IIRC, the difference was mostly cosmetic, and the Superbe Pro newer and more widely available than the original Superbe.

SunTour was a pretty small design outfit and used other companies under contract for manufacturing. Dia Compe made the brakes, Sugino the cranks, Mikashima or Kyokuto (I can't remember which) the pedals, etc.
