Normally I wouldn't bother you all with yet another ebay spoof, but this one was so insidious I thought it a good idea to mention it briefly. You get a post from another ebay member, asking about an item you *already have on auction.* The email asks if you have this item on auction on some other ebay site, and when you go to check, you have to sign in on an ebay sign-in screen. The whole thing looks very legit.

I guess the moral of the story is that any post that involves a link to a site where you have to give a password, is probably a bogus post..

now back to our regularly scheduled whosis..
