I was reading the last page of the latest VeloNews (24 April edition) that was written by Michael Barry, son of listmember Mike Barry of Mariposa and Bicycle Specialties. Of course, the pictures always catch my eye and this drawing appears to be a fixed gear road bike, although my eyes aren't good enough to tell whether it has track dropouts or road. Looks like the decal on the downtube could be Mariposa too. Clearly the bike is lugged steel, pedals are clips and straps and hubs are high flange. Single front brake. Michael recently crashed in Europe and is on the mend. My thoughts go out to our fellow listmember Mike as I'm sure he is anxious about his son's recovery. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
