I am not entering the debate.
I merely went to my shed to have a look at the two evans frames that are in there. nice frames, well built and well maintained. the newer one is covered in braze ons. the older one does hava a brave on on the chainstay for a cyclo rear mech. Both look very much like touring frames to me and would not be suited to racing.
