scott mattern asks for help fitting out his '65 Paramount. Here's what ought to be on mine:

SM: Having found a fork (Thank you Lee!) I need a head set, if I am correct that a Campagnolo Nuovo Record with the <C> marking should be installed?

HS: I'm not too compulsive. I don't know the difference between the "Nuovo" and "plain-ole" Record of the era, but that's what I use.

SM: How do I determine what axle is needed for the BB, assuming again that a Campy NR is the correct choice?

HS: '65 should take the 151 mm BCD cranks. I can measure my spindle if you want.

SM: Realizing that the wood-filled Weinmann tubular rims are not to be found, what might be a reasonable replacement?

HS: Fiammi red labels are probably the most likely to be find-able w/o bankruptcy. What's on mine now, albeit with inappropriate small flange hubs.

SM: Stem and bars.Cinelli? Gotta' have something to put the Weinmann brake levers and Campy bar-ends on.

HS: I use oval-logo Cinelli. Might have had Titan? but that's "unobtanium"
