I am away from home so I can't check but I'm sure I have a photo of Coppi riding a bike badged as a Coppi that has a tubular fork crown. Not quite the same as a Raleigh as it is slightly barrel shaped.

I have one of those Coppi bikes, made by Fiorelli, the fork is constructed in the same basic assemblage, but the connections are all fillet brazed, very cool, that's why I bought the bike. I have also seen Fiorelli badged frames with the same construction, so it might have been a Fiorelli's style applied to the Coppi branded bikes of the 60's that were made in Italy.
