Subject: [CR]Leather bar wrap project...The Leather Man cometh

Folks, We have had some delays on the harness maker's end. They have had a very busy Spring and last week they had a death in the family...being devoutly Amish these are very family oriented folks , as one might guess. Things just swung to a stop for a week or so. I have expanded the initial order in a call to them this morning and hope to be able to accommodate the desires of the several folks who wrote after the initial orders were sent to me. Joel, the only member of the family who will talk on the modern telephone they have (which now has voice mail...they do accept credit cards, too...apparently a little modernism is ok, but not for the older family members) tells me they will make the wrap at the end of this week or the beginning of the next and that I should have it in my hands in a week or ten days. When I get it, I will make an announcement and begin contacting those who have written me about it. I still don't have a final price for a set and likely won't until I see their bill...I think perhaps they have a family conference on such matters and choose a figure when they see how it went...not sure about that, however. This is the third or fourth time I have done this and I never have a firm price from them until the last minute. Fortunately I have the greatest faith in their integrity. Thanks for your patience,
Tom Sanders
