On the other hand, I just noticed the blue early 70's PX-10 someone outed last week has been bid up to $255. Pretty nice frame, but missing wheels and saddle and the brakes are incorrect original Dura-Ace. I was considering bidding $200 but $255 seems a little high for an incomplete PX-10. Yet the high bidder is Baron Corpus, so maybe French bike prices are finally increasing. Baron may part this out and do OK, especially if the seatpost is the old badged type (I can't tell from the photos). Since the bike is incomplete and partly nonoriginal, he probably won't agonize over parting it out.
