Jerry poses a straw-man argument. He argues against something I

never said.

I never said Peugeots weren't important. I never said they weren

a bargain--although, as John Jorgenson pointed out earlier, even

as a bargain, no-one could move them off the shop-floor in the'70s,

when the nervex lugs went away. Seems like I'm not the only one

who had a problem with them. Cheap and ugly is always cheap and

ugly, no matter how you slice it.

Back to the point: what I said was, this one was ugly.&nbsp

If you like badly finished bikes, Jerry, I can't help that. It's

to bear.

You might treat yourself to a Masi sometime. Who knows? Yo

actually like it. <g>
