I live next to a Danish town in central California. They are amazing people. Imminently rational and practical, sometimes to a fault, but mostly to a virtue. They make even Germans seem positively indicisive, when it comes to sticking to their soundly reasoned ideas in the face of all trends to the contrary. Their motorcycles and their bikes confirm this--both exceptionally good and exceptionally different in their pursuit of practical function. Oddly, I've never seen a Pedersen here. I'm on the look out for one (albeit in the grand Danish tradition of a right price), so I can ride it in the Danish Days parade.
