This makes sense to me-- a replica you would buy for collecting might be a different case, but I can see why you'd buy a replica for riding. Those Mas i threads where people fret over riding their Masis might suggest that having a facsimile you could ride without worry might be useful. Kind of like making a copy of a favorite CD to use in the car.
