Subject: [CR]Identifying Reynolds Stays?

I know that "pencil stays" were a reynolds thing, e.g. the stays would taper to a point not much larger than a pencil, and this taper would happen 1-2 inches before the stay hit the dropout. Another reynolds stay was "rapid taper" chainstays. The stays tapered so quickly that no dimpling was necessary for a 42-52 crank and/or 700c wheels.

But is there a 3rd type of reynolds stay that can be identified just by looking ?? I am curious about other ways to identify (or rule out) Reynolds 531 seat or chainstays, thanx.
