Interesting that they chose 14 mm like the Japanese rather 15 mm like Campy. Can't remember if old TA was 14 or 15. Another set of changes I find interesting was a couple of years later, when Stronglight changed to 144 BCD chainrings about the time Campy went to 135 BCD with C-Record. And about the same time Nervar switched to the 122 BCD rings that Stronglight was making obsolete by switching to 144 BCD that Campy was making obsolete by switching to 135 BCD.

When Stronglight switched to the 22mm extractor thread, they also switched to 14mm bolts.
