Don, I'll take the 2006 model please! I try and refine and fine tune each new frame hoping its better than the last. I talked about this in the recent VBQ article/road test, volume 4 number 2. Just this evening I rode the maiden voyage on a bike I will bring to this years Cirque, the ride ended with a smile and thats what inspires me to do this work. I like to think that my earlier work is good,,, my customers tell me they love their bikes,,, but I feel like I learn something new every day, and that benifits my future customers. Go for that 1980 Weigle, you won't be disappointed and you will save a heap of money over the 2006 job, but know that many of us continue to do our best with every new frame we build!
