Prompted by the BB shell thread, I thought I'd offer a teaser for the Cirque. With a little luck and FedEx efficiency, we will have a Dave Bohm "frame-in-progress" on display at the Cirque. This frame is being built from vintage components, substantially reworked by Dave Bohm. What you see in the pictures posted are the RGF BB shell and Bacomma lugs being worked-up for the frame. The BB shell in particular reinforces how rough they were before a frame builder went to work on them, and how far they come for a finished product on a quality custom frame. For this particular project, Dave has documented the process in photos, which gives us a rare look into what goes into a very special frame built with vintage components.
