My recollection is that the chainrings are interchangeable with TA Cyclotouriste rings. The bb was peculiar to Viscount?Lambert. I don't believe the frame is threaded so using someone elses bb/crankset is problematic. As a teen I worked in a shop that sold Viscount and rode one myself for many years (with and without the death fork). I'll search around for the repair manual (but my wife might have disappeared it). If needed I do have a set of the Viscount tools for dealing with their sealed bearings. Len Diamond Ridgewood, NJ
