Subject: [CR]Wide bar recommendations for 1950's Brit lightweights??

I have some early 1950's British lightweights which I run with the correct original bars - GB South of France.

My problem is that I find the bars just too narrow. On my main non-classic bike I have used 44 and 46 cm bars - I'm fairly large, and wider bars allow me to get low comfortably and to get a good stable grip when jumping out of the saddle - both things that I find much harder with the narrow 1950's bars.

So... Are there any wide and deep early 1950's bars - which provide good space for grip on the tops as well as the drops - that would have been used on an early 50's British bike?

Thanks for any suggestions,
