Hi Bob,

I do not know exact dates of catalog publications and their details, but in historical fact, there was almost 10 year differnce between ROAD (Strada) and TRACK (Pista) change of BCD 151 to 144.

Even some "Raised" pedal hole for Pista cranks (151 BCD) was available in mi d 70's, while Strada ones disappered in 1961 (starded 1958 with caps), this would be 15 years delay!

The Pista set is super conservative, to maintain its strength, 1/8" wide chain vs, 3/32' the market did not call for much of smaller (less than 44T)rings, so they kept 151 BCD which is in fact stronger construction design at the mounting bolts, 141 is cutting too close to edge of ring while 151 allows more room.

Have a great weekend!
