Hi All, due to the acquisition of an elderly Gibson L-5 my Ron Cooper
will be looking for a new home. The bike was custom ordered in 1983 and
delivered in '84. It has Joe Bell paint - red with white Ron Cooper lettering on the
seat tube & down tube. White highlighting of the fork crown cutout, Cinelli
bottom bracket shell & "deck of cards" cutouts on the inner fork legs.
The bike is all super record with the exception of record hubs with clincher
Mavic ma-40's and later aero brake levers. Cinelli bar & stem. It's as
originally built excepting the levers.
The only signs of use on the bike are brake wear marks on the sidewalls of
the wheels, all components are very clean.
The seat tube measures 60cm c to c. with a 57cm top tube. I'm planning on
keeping the pedals but will throw in a pair of Miche record copies. The bike has
always been a beauty queen and has less than 1k on it. If anyone is interested
I'll be happy to send pictures. $1000.
