Subject: [CR]Tandem chain recommendations and Stronglight 3pin stuff

First question,

Just took the Follis tandem out for it's latest trial run (still a work in progress) and broke the breakable link (SRAM PC68) twice. Found both halves both times and made it home fine, but................

1) Does anybody have a chain they'd recommend over the PC68?

2) Should I just ditch the master link and put it together without one?

And for something completely different,

I'm putting together a Peugeot AO(?) 8 as a 5spd commuter with a simplex chain guard (factory braze-ons in place) original alloy fenders and rack, etc. This is the one that came with the shifter braze-on on the top tube, upright (north road?) handle bars and a full compliment of cable guides. Should make a satisfactory rain bike for winter riding................... I bought a Stronglight TS 3pin crank as came on old UO 9s and UO 10s that I'm wanting to use just the inner ring with. The outer (52 tooth) is near new so I'm looking for one thats worn out to have the teeth cut down on. Also going to need a bottom bracket for same.
