Former listmember Angel Garcia of Long Valley, NJ sent this along about some new wool jerseys from Campagnolo. Now if we can only get them to start pumping out replacement rubber hoods for the brakes.
Angel is now living the good life in Italy since his retirement from AT&T.
What has he been up to lately? Angel says
"I've been busy cycling away. Corsica early June, Mont Ventoux in France last weekend, this past weekend the Maratona dles Dolomites, and coming up this weekend is the famous Stelvio climb. "
Wow, This weekend, I climbed the Watchung Mountains in Warren NJ and made the ride between Chatham to Madison on Route 124 without getting hit by a car. Somehow, it is not as glamorous as the stuff Angel is doing.
He sent me a jpeg of himself and he looks pretty fit for an "old guy"

At the Maratona dles Dolomites, CAMPAGNOLO had on display two classic wool style jerseys. I wasn't able to check the material. Very attractive. One was white with a black band across the front with Campagnolo in script, the other was black with a white band with Campagnolo in script. The Campy representative said they would be in stores in September, with more color combinations coming in the future.
