Hello fellow listmembers, Here's a proposition for you, since we are at the height of the bicycling season........ Instead of having your wife sitting with anticipation, hanging on to your every word, captivated by your illustrious tales of cycling prowess, why not have her join you in the wonderful world of vintage bicycling??...... As I have found myself truly addicted to vintage bicycles and having a lovely little wifey to be my riding companion, I've found myself with a few too many tandems!! So, here's your chance to have your loving lady join you and share your passion for vintage cycling adventures. What better way to keep the flame alive??..... Er, um?........ That is the flame of collecting vintage bicycles, right?...... What else did you think I was talking about?? ;-) Heck, I've found a whole new size range to look for...... After bouts with spatial reality, I now concede to the fact that there just isn't enough hanging space for all the tandems, I have to sell a few...... This way Stacy won't have to navigate just to park her car in the garage... Here goes....... To start, for initial size question's, I'm 5'10", my wife is 5'2", my saddle height is 29 3/4", hers is 24 5/8" and there is room to move the stoker saddle down a bit on the bikes..... First, we have a beautiful candy apple red, 1975 Schwinn Paramount mixte style tandem, very close to original condition, exceptional paint for a 30 year old!! I'm asking $1,000.00, packed and shipped to your door, (Have you checked shipping costs these days, ouch!!)...... Next is our 1979 Mercian Tandem, it's black with pretty decent paint, again mostly all original, by this term I mean that I have changed out some cables and/or housings, handlebar wrap and tires...... I did change the stem, because it had an oddball stem that was in tatty condition. I'm asking a little less, as the finish is not as nice as the Paramount, it's $900.00 packed and shipped to you. Remember, I will consider all offers and possible trades, (I am addicted to bikes!)..... Also, I have one off topic tandem, a Burley Rock'n'Road tandem, 5-10 years old, at the most and in great shape, it's barely been used, $950.00, shipped to your door. Of course, local pickup is always welcome :-)

We have a new digital camera and I will take as many pictures as needed very soon, so Email off list if you are truly interested. Thanks for your time and Dale, I hope this wasn't too long of a "for sale add" Happy Cycling from Anaheim Hills, in Sunny SoCal John Morrison
