Subject: [CR]Cilo Decals

Hello,

I'm new to this list and was pleasantly surprised to find it! I've owned a 1970 Gitane Tour de France since the early 70's (purchased from the original owner) and would now like to restore a 70's Cilo Sprint-X, which included Campy NR components. At first I moved the Campy parts to the Gitane (yes, they are all French versions) but have come to realize the history of the Cilo (thanks to the archive listings). My plan is to upgrade to Campy SR and reunite the Gitane with the NR.

I would appreciate any help the past or present Cilo owners can provide, especially with regards to decals. I have purchased various vendor decals (Campy, Reynold's, Cinelli, etc.) from eBay but fear the Cilo logo and top tube decals will be a challenge. I have found photos of Cilo bicycles but none like mine. The current decals are visible, but very worn. I did locate someone who will create them from photos (http://home.comcast.net/~velographic/VGhome.htm) but would also like to know if any replicas exist. I can send photos, if they would help.

I would appreciate any help you can provide, as I love my vintage bikes!

Best regards,
