I've never used the Campy stand that John outed, but I have used the Cinelli stand being sold by Dan Kehew:

My Cinelli stand is earlier than Dan's, but they are essentially the same. I highly recommend this design. It is meant to be used with one wheel removed, either front or rear. Since the frame is secured to the stand through the fork tips or the dropouts, the frame sits on the stand very securely, and there is no risk of damaging your frame or finish with a clamp like the one on the Campagnolo and other models. It is solid and stable enough to hold your bike while you push down on a bottom bracket wrench with all of your body weight. The stand is also very compact and disassembles for storage or travel. Definitely the best stand I've ever owned. I think they are fairly rare too, so this may be a good opportunity.

This endorsement is entirely gratuitous and unsolicited.
