>From the "better late than never file", the bottle cages in question (mounted on my Weigle as seen at the Cirque) are made by - or at least marketed by - Velocity. I have another pair in red that still have a little sticker on the side of the cage that says "Velocity Australia". They are very similar to the American Classic cages that John mentioned, but somewhat different when compared side-by-side. I always liked the AC cages too, and have them on a couple bikes. The AC cages are a little more "svelte" maybe in their design than the Velocity cages, and Velocity's mounting hardware is decidedly "clunkier" than the AC's hardware. The Velocity cages fit the look of the Weigle really well, and (as Don mentions) almost look fabricated by Peter. I removed the stickers from the cages on the Weigle, just as I removed the stickers for the steel-blue Mavic Open Pro rims I used for that project. The rims, in particular, have a much cleaner, more classic look without the multi-colored labeling.

Cage (poor pic really) and rim can be seen here:

>>>Hi, folks. In reviewing Ray Dobbins' great photo gallery of the Cirque bike show, I caught this bottle cage on a beautiful J.P. Weigle:

Can anyone ID that cage? Maybe it's a custom fab by Weigle, but if it's a production item I'd love to know what it is.

Thanks all!
