Well, as this is a vintage bicycle forum, I am not intersted in how well repair stands' function but rather, how cool are they?
So I put forward for your consideration the Picchio stand... Anyone remember it? Waaay cool.
We used one in our shop back-in-the-day (as a secondary stand but none the less a working unit) until it was replaced, finally, with a modern effiient and boring Park.
I have a Picchio brochure somewhere with a pic of it...
