I've heard the name, and I believe they also made saddles which were quite nice copies of the Unicanitor models.

I wonder if perhaps they were an affiliate or a subsidiary of "Zeus". I do have a couple quite nice Zeus copies of the first generation Campy 2-bolt Super Record posts, just as you describe, and indeed they too were very beauifully polished. As I recall, the Zeus products always sold for perhaps half the cost of the Campy originals - and they never broke.

"...can anybody give me info on Arius seatposts. they are made in Spain and look like copies of the fluted two bolt Campy posts. They appear to be very well made, or at least very shiny, if a bit heavy. One is going on one of my bikes. This is another NOS stash I've been offered and know nothing about..."
