I have a generic hollow axle that I need to cut down to use in a frame with 120mm spacing. How long should the axle be? The frame has Campagnolo long horizontal dropouts.
The 1973 Campagnolo catalog says that the part 29/R normally ships in a length of 129mm, but it is available in other lengths as well. I only have one of these axles, and I don't want to mess up.
The hub in question is not Campagnolo, but I don't think that matters, does it?
