Chris, what can you tell us about when the Huret gruppo was produced and what it included? Perhaps it explains this unsual crank that went unsold on eBay:

I'm 99.9% sure this is a Nervar Star crank with Huret markings. Was this crank part of the Huret gruppo you refer to?

Interesting crank, but a bit high at $200, I thought.

I thought I'd share what I'd learned since I found it very interesting: These seat posts were made by the firm of JP Routens, the famous French constucteur. The were also included in the short lived Huret gruppo.

By the way, I have one on E-bay ( item # 140009821797 ) and I'll post some photos on the Velo Orange blog in a few minutes.

Many thanks to those of you who provided information.
