Hello, my name is Laura Long and, while this is my first post, I've been spying on the list for about eight months. I ride an old Holdsworth (probably La Quelda, black and beautiful) and occasionally a Jack Taylor tandem from the late 70's/early 80's.
My partner (50's Claud Butler, 60's Motobecane) and I are in the process of moving from Bloomington, IN to Brooklyn, NY, and I was wondering if any of you had advice on one- or two-day bike trips outside the city you would share. We'll have to take trains or just pedal on out of the city, but other than that we're down for whatever you want to throw our way.
