Randy, I'm not sure about when the XA came out, but a new logo 1R would be "correct". I'm pretty sure a 1A would be as well, but I can't remember if it should say Cinelli on the extension or not. According the the following website, it should: http://www.43bikes.com/cinelli-bars-stems.html

Hello,

I have an '83 Cinelli SC and was wondering what Cinelli stems were available at that time? Had the XA been released or were the 1A and 1R the only ones out at that point? I tried checking the archives but they seem to be down.

Also, if anyone has an 85-100mm Cinelli-pantographed (new-style logo) stem or Campy chainring, I'm interested.

Thanks,
