Wow. You put a lot more work into it than I do -- for me, a simple drill-mounted wire brush does the trick to remove the loose rust, maybe a little simichrome conversation with Mr Buffing-Wheel, and a light coat of grease to prevent further rust.

But yours look nicer! :-)
